Nate Mason

Hometown: Decatur, GA

Advice from Nate: “Everyone has dreams of the next level…you have to do whatever it takes to separate yourself. Rather its leadership, communication, defensive mechanism etc. Something has to show the coach that he/she can trust you. Everyone was the best player on their high school team. Everyone can score. Once you become a professional stay professional. Show up early 30mins early. Get proper sleep, take care of your body, and perfect your craft daily”

Advice from JD: “No matter where you are when you put in the results the work will show. I transferred from Jacksonville where I was named ASUN freshman of the year, led the team in scoring and assist second year. Took a bet on myself went to the SEC won 6th man of the year my junior year by Bleacher Report and SEC coaches. Helped the team to the Elite *. Senior Year 1st team ALL SEC led the team to another Elite 8 appearance. And much more. Without saying much more without sacrifice of hours improving my game with diet, weight room, skills workouts there is no success. There is no one begging you to workout at high levels, coaches want players who love the game.”
